When his high-school senior prank goes wrong, his life crumbles before his eyes. In frustration he launches the F**k-It List - of all the things he wishes he'd done but was too afraid. The list goes viral and touches a nerve with teenagers everywhere, exposing the educational-industrial complex as a money-machine designed to encourage anxiety-ridden parents to sell their kids into years of Tiger-Mom style servitude. The plot reflects every gen z'ers fantasy of going wild and blowing up on social media. At some point the writing can slack but it only slightly takes away from the overall story. Some b plots are underdeveloped (Kayla's boyfriend? ex? friend? and there are several corny moments throughout the movie but it is an otherwise good movie. I can see what the movie was trying to get to.
During the movie I rated 1 but because of the ending it gets the current score.
Comedy but irresponsible for the freak accident and juvenile pranks but good ending.

The preview on Netflix had the main girl trying to destroy a car. I wanted to see what happened next lol. It was a very intriguing movie with a lot of good advice from parent to a growing child.
It's about putting your foot down to stand up for yourself, especially in the most understanding way for 90's-2000's kids to relate to. But it's also about knowing who your true friends are and being there for them and learning who you truly are meant to be, not just who you're told to be.
